What will you be bringing to the market this year? Assorted chocolates in gift boxes, (individual flavors in cooler months), chocolate covered nuts, chocolate covered coffee beans, and marshmallows.
How did your company get started? I worked in high end restaurants and was always trying to incorporate chocolates into their dessert programs, but kitchens don’t offer the best climate for chocolate work, so we decided to start our own business and serve high end restaurants in the south, as well as have a really fabulous local following through our online store, retail partners, and farmer’s markets.
What do you wish people knew about your product? Each chocolate takes, on average, 2 days to make and are all made with real ingredients (no flavorings, no extracts, no preservatives, no food dyes).
What question do you never get sick of customers asking? “Do they go bad?” Your food should go bad! Thats how you know it’s a real product, and not processed in some way.
Your favorite story about your company or the market? This is our first market season, and we’re just always thrilled to meet new people and have them taste our products.
Do you have any recommended recipes or surprisingly awesome ways to use your products? They make great gifts, but are also really great just to have for yourself as a snack!
What do you love about the Brookhaven Farmers Market? We’re really excited to have our first season here; it’s in a beautiful space and we love meeting our customers!
